Developed by students from the Design Academy Eindhoven, Neighbourfood examines traditional and contemporary lifestyles from the perspective of food. The traditional Dutch recipe for 'Jan in de Zak', prepared and passed on by Bregt Buishand of the Zuiderzee Museum, served as the starting point. The students rethought this traditional recipe from the point of view of their different cultural backgrounds, translating it into more modern and international variations.
